So I am a guy, 16, and there is another guy I like, 16.
He’s my best friend, and he is 100% out of the closet, and he knows about my drunken behaviors/almost-hookups in the past, while I am publicly straight (I’m bi so it’s not a total lie )

Anyway, a few weeks ago we were laying together on the couch when he went to the bathroom and then to my room, claiming he wanted to lay somewhere with blankets, and i was like sure, so I got in there and then he starts kissing me! I was really surprised and I had never thought of him that way before, and so I wasn’t really into it, and I stopped him and I was like "I’m not up for this but I’ll let you do it to get it out of your system" and he just continued to kiss me and I was a mildly active participant, haha.
A week passed by and I was REALLLLLYYY starting to enjoy the idea, and we went to the movies with a friend and the whooole time we held hands it was really sweet, but he was also kind of being bitchy, but still touching my hand and stuff, and I knew he was unsure.
So I texted him like "you really don’t want this to happen, do you?" and he was like "yeah i do! i just don’t feel romance toward you, so it won’t work", and then we had a week of school and I saw him there, and then winter vacation I didn’t see him at all for 2 weeks (we had plans but i fell really ill near the end of winter vacation).
school started again and that weekend we got together to work on a project, but he is a slob and so i didn’t trust him to do the project (i had already finished everything but the poster which i helped him do), and he made some comment like "blah blah blah i have to shave down there again" and i was like "whaaat really you do? sickoo!" (even though I have for years so.. hah) and he was like "whaaat it’s so normal!" and i went "i don’t believe you that’s so weird" so he went "you think? go ahead feel it, i don’t get awkward i don’t care" and so i did and i was like "oh hah that’s funny it feels like a shaved head.. uhh scalp. hahah" and then i was like brushing the bristlyness and then i was like "so if you don’t get awkward.. is THIS awkward?" and i reached further and grabbed a hold. (raging ***** btw) and i was like "looool somebody’s enjoying this!" and he was like "that’d happen if ANYBODY touched it" and i was like "whatevvv, hah" and let go/removed my hand haha
he’s brought it up later as a joke because i have a really low body temperature like "your icy hands on my dick!"
during the last week, we were driving home and i (as a joke) groped his butt and my other friend’s butt (cause i was stuck in the middle seat and i hate it hah), and he was just like "careful "
then last weekend, we were hanging out and i hugged both my other best friend and him goodbye, and as we’re hugging (not in the sight of our other best friend), he grabs my *** with one hand, pulls me super close and grinds our crotches together
we hang out ALLLL the time too, and if we are in a large group on someone’s bed he’ll do things like sit against my feet to keep them warm (it’s not uncomfortable for me/him/anyone hah it just sounds weird), or if as a group we all go for a walk he’s the first to make everyone link arms (and he links mine) and holds my hand to keep it warm (because as usual, i am an iceberg)

i have no idea what to make of all this and i am so into him and i know it’s just high school and we probably won’t go to the same university but why won’t he be with me, even if it might only be for a year or it doesn’t work out?

in short: we’ve made out, i’ve felt him (hard) and he didn’t complain, he always acts like (and is) my best friend, but he doesn’t ‘feel romance’ toward me

just what should i doooooo is it my fault? is it him?

We met, and from day one we were really into each other.. and on our 3rd or 4th date we decided to become a couple.. from there it was great.. we connected so well, we were eager to share everything we held dear to us.. even the things that had harmed us in the past. However, every once in awhile she would break down and her insecurities took over and would question my trust and constantly ask who every girl was that i was in contact with.. she had a bad past and I wanted to help her work on this.. About 2 weeks into her schooling a concert came up that we went to (she took the day off to go there) she mostly wanted to go to get the rest of her albums signed by one of the members who was apart of a different band… afterwards when we got back, I spent the night.. and as usual when we sleep at her house, her dog joins us.. (she is really into her dog btw), while at the concert I had suffered a few bruises from a mosh pit forming behind us.. and I protected her taking most of the blows that would occur.. and as we were about to sleep… her dog jumped on my back… (where the bruises where) and i tried to move the dog away from me.. it really offended her.. then the next morning as she was getting ready for school she had to use my cellphone to get an email from someone from the concert.. and saw that I was texting a friend of mine and got upset because when she asked who i was talking to.. I had said no one, and she felt as if I lied to her.. (but the texts were way after when she asked if i was talkin to someone on my phone.. I was surfing the net at the time). That was the last straw apparently.

ANYWHO.. the next day she said she wanted some space, as she said she was confused if she was really ready for this kind of commitment/relationship.. (as she was saying that she wanted to be in an exclusive relationship where the bf/gf are more than that but also best friends too and all that. It’s what I wanted as well… which is another factor as to why we connected so well.)

So as she took her space.. I got really anxious.. and lonely not being able to talk to her.. so I called her when we hadn’t spoken for 2 days.. and was ignored.. which got my mind thinking crazy thoughts.. like there may be another guy or something.. so I kept calling.. and finally I got a hold of her.. she said she was just really busy and we could talk later after I got home from work… I came home and gave her a rang.. and it was ignored.. I then found she had removed all contact from me.. and.. now I don’t know what to do.

Is there still hope that she will warm up and talk to me?

She wanted space because she felt overwhelmed (as this happened in roughly 1.5 months).. as I felt overwhelmed too.. but it just felt right, y’know? She said she really cares about me alot and just needs time to be alone and think if she is ready for this.. But I wanted to talk to her to get on the same page to figure out what kind of relationship she was thinking we were getting into…

So again, my question is.. will she warm up and re-connect communication with me? Or did my insecurities at the end and invading her space blow the whole thing?

TL;DR : 1 month, went fast. She wanted space and felt confused if she was ready to commit to something she really wants (just doesn’t feel that at this time it can happen). Blocked all communication with me. Will she ever talk to me again? Or am I never going to hear from her?
Right now she needs space.. I will give it to her (this time i won’t break down), well mostly because I have to now…

How long should I wait before I try to reconnect with her?

I’ll be quite honest with you. I’m not sure what kind of relationship you are looking for but this one does not seem anywhere near ideal. She’s controlling and insecure. Your girlfriend claims she wants the relationship to be one of love and friendship but she pushes that boundary by invading your personal space ie. Keeping tabs on ‘every’ girl you talk to, becoming frustrated if you don’t discuss who you converse with over the phone.

Theres definitely a level of miscommunication if you are unable to even explain that you simply pushed aside her dog because he was hurting you. She evidently does not trust you if she immediately assumes you lied about the purpose of a text message you happen to send.

Lack of communication, lack of trust and inability to respect your partners privacy. There could be more to the relationship but thats for you to decide. I personally would have taken these as a sign to leave.

Continue trying to call her if you want to pursue this relationship and I suggest talking through some of these dilemmas.

As for whether or not she would call, I have a feeling she may have discovered better options.

Okay, This is a toughy, as you may have already figured out.
My boyfriend and I clicked the first second we met. i had a rocky past too and i thought i could tell everything to him… so i did. But then i never really got more than an "Oh, Im sorry" or an "Ok then. When i open up to someone i want to get a reaction out of them. And lately ive just been keeping to myself. I think maybe you guys moved a little to fast.. but we cant take back time can we! lol. Why is Krav Maga useful?
Can someone leas me in the right direction, and show me that its actually useful. all i see are people making assumptions on the opponent. if you ask me (a boxer) i could beat the living shit out of a krav student from what i have seen. I was interested in learning it before i saw "it". It look to me like they assume what their opponent will do which is not always good nor bad, but what i don’t understand is how its considered a defensive "art" when they just grab someones forearm and pound away with their fist as if they were untrained.

XP im not hating on krav, im just asking a few questions.

1. How and why is useful in real combat (tell and or show me how)
2. what weapons are used?
3. is it really all grabbing a limb and then smacking them over and over again like a retard or are there actual take downs,kill moves and throws?

as you may assume since i box i mastered how to punch, now i turn to krav to complete my training in grappling,kicking and ground fighting.

can someone help me out by explaining this all to me, im just looking to dispose of opponents in quick lethal ways, not pound them on the floor…

Well it has proven itself in the worst battlefield of the 20th century, the middle east. It’s not all grab a limb and hit repeatedly, the moves are purposely designed to cause damage and kill an enemy if need be. I have been boxing for over 20 years and to be honest I felt the same way as you did about jujitsu until I got my feet wet in a class. I say just try it and see if you like it or not.

krav maga isn’t a competitive sport, its more for defending yourself. its techniques from all of the different martial arts just blended together. more or less for military purposes. most likely anything that you would go into battle with is what they teach you to use. knife fighting, ground techniques, even using things you would just find lying around

Is KM useful? Yes, it could be called useful for several reasons. It is a basic system of defence, and is quite simple. In my opinion it is over-hyped as a real martial art, which is surely isn’t. It is basic, but in most cases it is the basics that work when one is pressed. for strictly defence purposes it may be adequate. It’s usefulness depends upon you, the practitioner, what you put into learning it, and what purpose it may serve for you.
If you are looking for a martial art, and are already a boxer, you may find it lacking. I could only suggest you check out one of the classical martial arts, if available in your area. Karate, kenpo, and many Chinese arts will add kicking and grappling to your arsenal, and may be of more interest to you. You may wish to begin with KM, but I would think you might find something more complete should you wish it.

Is there a way to wipe and reformat my computer without the windows disk?
I have an obnoxious virus that causes my computer to run slowly and continuously restart and random times (typically right when windows xp loads up or right before it does). I have tried using the system recovery tool and wiping the computer that way but it didn’t help. now i would like to just fully wipe it and start from scratch, however, the computer was given to me by a friend and i dont have the windows xp disk or a backup disk to use. please help! (ps. im broke and cant afford to go buy a new OS or anything)

Well first you should try to repair your current windows install with a rescue cd, even if you have to borrow another computer to create it:

Basically, this is a operating system that runs totally from CD, plus an anti-virus program. Use that to try to clean the hard drive.

After you’ve tried one or two rescue CDs, if your Windows install is totally useless (because some necessary files were infected/deleted)…

You could always borrow another computer to download/burn the ISO file for ubuntu linux. You’ll be able to do everything with ubuntu except for playing computer games written for windows operating systems. Oh, and don’t worry about not knowing anything about linux. Linux is now easier to both install and use than windows is.

If you have access to a friends PC, or a public one at a library, you can download a Linux distribution and burn it to a CD. Linux today looks a lot like Windows and is not susceptible to virus infection. The laptop I’m using right now is running a version called Presto which you can try out for free but it costs $20 if you keep it running. I also have a desktop machine running the Ubuntu distribution which is completely free.

A vulture tells them that there is a boat at the other end of the valley that may save them all, but they only have 3 days to make it or die. Manny is having trouble facing the fact that he may be the last mammoth left. Along the way, they meet Ellie (Queen Latifah), a mammoth who thinks she is a possum, and her possum brothers Crash (Sean William Scott) and Eddie (Josh Peck). As they begin to travel together, Manny learns, with help from Diego and Sid, that having this new mammoth with them, may not be as bad as Manny makes it out to be while they try to escape the oncoming and continually threatening flood. During their journey, Scrat the sabre-toothed squirrel has his own hilarious adventures that eventually leads to something else entirely.

Like the questioner asks, he is not looking for the world ending event which could be the Asteriod/comet strike, or Gamma ray burst both of which are the least likely to occur, but what from the list is most likely to occur. The most likely to occur is Glacier meltdown which if you just read the news is already happening. Most of the glaciers in the world are melting back. Very few are advancing. But it will take 50 to 100 years to become catastrophic for the world. For certain regions it will become very serious long before then. Of course if we haven’t taken significant steps to curb global warming by then well we will all be toast.

Depends, if you are a fighting fan I would buy SF4 and SC4 and if not buy Darksiders. If it was my money I would buy SF4 and SC4 due to the fact that they are now both pretty cheap as they have been out for a while and I would wait for Darksiders to come in price in the future (even though it is a great game). You could always rent Darksiders to get your fix tell it is cheaper or you have some more money. Hope this helps.
